Can I use olive oil instead?
How hot should the pan be?
How do I know it's done?
1.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Finely chop the onion, mince the garlic, and dice the tomatoes.
2.
Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until soft.
3.
Add the ground beef to the pan. Cook until fully browned, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon.
4.
Stir in the diced tomatoes. Reduce heat to low and let the meat sauce simmer and thicken.
5.
Add the spaghetti to the boiling water. Cook until al dente, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
6.
Drain the spaghetti well. Plate the pasta into bowls and generously top with the warm bolognese sauce.
